A Caring Community Partner

Baird has a long tradition of giving back in the communities where our associates live and work, and many give generously of their time, talents and personal resources to local organizations. Our associates also support annual firm level campaigns to raise funds for local and national charities. And our Baird Foundation provides financial support for causes ranging from fighting homelessness and hunger to promoting education and the arts.

Other ways Baird supports associates’ passion for giving back include Baird Gives Back Week; an event encouraging associates to team up in their communities and volunteer in a range of activities, including tutoring students, working with seniors, building homes and cleaning up parks.

Salvation Army

Baird is proud to be a supporter of the Salvation Army and all the wonderful things they do, especially around the holidays. Every year our employees participate in Ringing the Bell for this great cause.

Rotary Club of Hopkinsville

For over 100 years The Rotary Club of Hopkinsville has advocated for the youth in Christian County. Baird/Hilliard Lyons employees have been members of our local Club for at least 50 of those years. Each year in April, the Club hosts one of the largest fund raising events in all of Rotary International with a week-long Auction. In 2020 the Club established the Hopkinsville Rotary Foundation by entrusting Baird Trust with monies to setup an endow the Club’s gift giving initiatives. The last 2 years this Auction has raised over $500,000 each year for scholarship, grants and other youth initiatives designed to Make an Impact and create Pathways for success for students of all ages.

Baird employees in Hopkinsville have served as leaders and Board members in the Club and are devoted to giving back to our community where we Live, Work, and Play.
